Substitution Policy

 

At Flowers on Queen St, we believe in customer should get what they see on our website. There is time however when this is impossible due to the season availability. Certain product display on this website may vary slightly in design or appearance to what is delivered. If a particular flowers, products or container is unavailable, an equitable substitution policy will apply. 

 

For example, if a type of flower is out of season, our experienced team member will choose a substitution with a similar design, colour, quality and price. This policy applies so the recipient will receive their gift on the day of delivery. 

 

Return and refund 

 

As your local florist, we like ensure all our customers are happy with the products and gift they purchased from us. We are here to help you get through the good or bad day through our flowers and gifts. We purchase majority of our flowers and foliage directly form local flower growers wherever possible. 

 

However, we are selling natural products that I fragile and perishable. Whilst the great caution been taken to ensure the quality of flowers we send out, a number of variable reasons may result in their longevity being reduced that is out of control.  

 

Although we are unable to give an exact number of days they will remain fresh, we would like to give you some handy maximised the vase life and enjoyment of the flowers you receive. Each delivery we send out will include a Flower Caring instruction, this will assist you in prolonging the flowers life. 

 

If you receive a bouquet, we recommend cutting the stems apx.2- 3 cm on a sharp angle and changing the water in the vase every 2 days and ensuring all flowers stem are submerge in water so they can have a good drink. 

 

For free standing/ self contained arrangement, we recommend topping up the arrangement with fresh water every 2 - 3 days.

 

On average, most flowers should last between 3- 5 days. Air conditioning, extreme heat or sudden change in climate may affect the vase life of flowers.

If for any reason you need to cancel an order and refund, please contact Flowers on Queen St as soon as possible.

 

Cancelations are subject to the following conditions:

  • Orders which have left with our courier cannot be canceled 

  • Orders which has not been prepared by our team maybe canceled, A $10.00 cancellation fee applies. 

 

 

 

Refunds

 

Any refunds will be processed immediately and are credited back to the credit cards the order was purchased with. It may take approximately 5 to 7 days for this to show on your statement.

Standard Delivery- $10.00 

 

Monday- Friday (Excluding Public Holidays): Online order placed BEFORE 12:00noon AEST for business delivery are guarantee to arrive by 5 pm on the same day. Delivery to residential address are guaranteed to be delivered same day by 7pm.

Where is my order?

 

Should you have any concern about the delivery status on your order, please feel free to give us a call. We may not be able to provide you an exact delivery time, yet, we can provide you an estimate delivery time frame.

Please ensure you provide us a valid contact phone number or valid email address when you place an order to allow us to get in touch should there be any question or concern about your order. 

 

What if the recipient is not home?


Of course we don't want to ruin the surplice of your gift, so we don’t expect you to check whether if recipient will be at the intended delivery address when you place an order. If no one is at the given address to receive the delivery, our experienced driver will leave the gift if it safe to do so. If the address is not safe to leave, our driver will leave a call card and do our best to return to the address later in the day, however, an additional delivery charge may apply.
